#1 is more "old-timey". Level it, of course.
Hi Terri,
I agree with Jim, there's less modern, and more 'old' style visible in the first shot, at least on first impressions. The house on right, plus what appears to be a yacht help this.
If you do end up using the second shot, be sure to clone out the cell/TV tower.
Cheers,
I think either would work; subject to Dave's comment.
But the skier appears to be going faster in the first image.
Thanks for your feedback...didn't think about the cell tower was so busy taking in everything else. I'm going to use the 1st one...not perfect but I hope to get better. I also like the ripples in the water. I don't know what I'm doing not to get it level??? Obviously, I'm tilting the camera a bit. You're right...in the 1st one she's got her back arched back much more!
Hi,
In addition to their posts, maybe crop your foreground or background. Something along the rule of 3rds.

Hi Terri,
Ye,s you can use the 'straighten tool' and then crop if you like. I normally 'rotate' the picture to level water horizons.
I'm not sure if you did level the water in your last post; if you did it still needs a bit more, as you can see from the white level line.
Hope this helps.
John
Your last post.
Terri,
I just added the line to show how much more was needed, imo.
Rotation to the left of about 3.
