Canvas Prints

I am planning to get a large stretched canvas print (probably about 30" x 40") of this Venice image that I processed using Photoshop's Oil Paint Filter...



I won't have the border around it because I plan to have it framed and I will ensure that the dimensions work with a 3x4 format...

I am considering Easy Canvas Prints ( http://www.easycanvasprints.com/ ) as the source for my print but, I have no special like or dislike for this company. I would like a print that doesn't cost a king's ramsom but I also want a well done print that will look good and which I will be proud of displaying.

Has anybody experience (good or bad) with the Easy Canvas Prints company? Or... perhaps some experience (again - good or bad) with another company. I am located in California, so a U.S. based company would work best for me...

I've used CanvasPop a couple of times (30 x 20 and 36 x 18) and everyone who sees the two I've purchased seem to be impressed. (https://www.canvaspop.com/).

I also have used a Canadian printer whose work was outstanding and materials were first rate, but more expensive for a canvas print (24 x 20, if I recall correctly) I gave to a friend as a gift (http://photohop.ca/).

I have also seen some work done by Marco Fine Arts (Hawthorne, CA) although I have not used them yet (https://www.marcofinearts.com/wholesale/home) and don't know how their prices work. They were recommended by a local gallery and a photographer I know.

Finally, I'm also looking into Ken Allen Studios (New York) because he was highly recommended on another site. I have no experience with him, though he seems to know what he is doing if one can judge from a web site. (http://www.kenallenstudios.com/servi...tprinting.html)

I would encourage you to check the Canadian company to see if your location works better. I'm way out in the Pacific, so cost is usually higher for me than for folks on the mainland due to transportation. His quality was noticeably better than the others that I have tried, even though all the others claim to be using the "best" of everything. I may end up using the Canadian company if I can't find comparable quality in the lower 48, as I was blown away by his work.

Thanks for the help. I am researching all of the options suggested. I kind of like the solid color (black) edge fold rather than the edges which are a continuation of the print itself.

What are the ideas from our members regarding the above.

I want to find a company that is as specific as possible in how the image should be prepared for printing and also a company which gives me as many options as possible....

Richard: this one is in Canada, www.printpartner.ca they do a real good job as the owner of the company is a photographer who has been printing and selling his work for years on canvas.
