Hello,
My name is Rob Zijlstra. I'm 60 yrs and have been an addict to photography since I was 18. Always Nikon, never saw a reason to switch.
I'm married, my 22yrs old son still living with my wife Marga and me. My daughter lives independently. Also have one cat, currently for the first time in I think 40 years no dog.
My favorite photography is Land/Sea scape, but I love to bicycle in the harbor and shoot there also.
My camera is a D700, some of my lenses are the 70-300VR2, 135mmF2.0DC, 24-70, and the 24mmPC-E (tilt/Shift).

I'm a member of the (mainly American membered) NikonCafe.Com and I hope to learn and give here!

One of the small pleasures I get from CiC is to see a new member from somewhere I don't know, and search to see where it is. Well, now I know where IJmuiden is, and I was wondering what the harbour might look like. Then I went to the forums, and found your picture- it all adds to my knowledge of the world. Thanks.
