I took a couple of days out on the Llyn Peninsula this week and though the conditions in the day were not too inspiring I did get this night shot that was a bit better.

It's moonlight coming in from the North East Dave, there was a low half Moon rising over to my left and I was shooting almost due South.

It's one of those rare times when a title came to mind as I was actually taking the picture.

Usually I would just use the geographical details but the Earthly location just seemed insignificant somehow.

Had another go at getting the Milky Way at my local observatory.



I was hoping for a bit more darkness but the sky clouded over shortly after this.
