    The 'pose' of the male is excellent. The only thing that could have been bettered is if the right hand animal had not stuck its head behind the tree.

    I think you've set the aperture well, retaining enough detail in the background, but having it sufficiently out-of-focus to keep attention of the main subject.

    Thanks for the comment and compliment. I didn't notice until you mentioned it that I had posted the uncropped version of this shot. The deer with head tucked behind a tree is cropped off in the final version. Otherwise identical, so I won't bother reposting. Again, thanks for taking the time to view and comment.
