Richard, this is a very nice photograph of Shadow.

Beautiful image Richard. I especially admire how you always seem to somehow capture a look of unconditional love in your dog photos.
Our dogs get and give unconditional love... When you hear the name, Shadow, for a Labrador, you would most likely think of black dog. However Shadow got her name because she is my Daughter's and Son-in-Law's shadow, she's always next to them. She is also our Goldendoodle, Holly's, best big dog friend...
I have no doubt that your dogs also receive unconditional love, loads of it.
Wow, I think this is the most beautiful photo of a dog I've even seen. Exquisitely beautiful.
Shadow is just a very beautiful dog and one of four rescues who share my daughter and her husband's lives and home...
Chico was abandoned in an apartment to starve. He was emaciated when he was adopted. My daughter and her hubby were only going to foster him but, he won their hearts and now has a forever home. Chico had some serious behavioral problems. However, unconditional love has brought him around to being a very nice dog...
We were fostering Minders who was rescued from a puppy mill. She was frightened of everybody but when my daughter and son-in-law visited she hopped into his lap and found her home. It took a couple of years for her to become a "normal" dog but, she is happy and well behaved.
Little belonged to a breeder but, she didn't do well in a kennel and the breeder was responsible enough to find an adoptive home for her. She rules the roost and is the alpha dog of the house...
I am going to have a set of canvas prints made of the the portrait of Shadow and the three Maltese. The all live in a new home and there is a wall space just dying for a set of canvas prints...
Good on you Richard for showing me a Lab now that's what I call a real dog.

Thank you for sharing, Richard... All of your images are especially beautiful, likely because they are made with lots of love.
