Its sure nice to have it back in my hands again....For those that were interested in what the problem was, the invoice said that the circuit board was not operating properly so that the power supply was not operating properly.... They replaced the circuit board....It was then inspected and cleaned.....

I've just got into photography with a DSLR. My camera is a Canon 7D like yours. Did Canon fix you camera free under warranty? I'm curious to know how good the warranty is.

Thanks Andrew, I am very happy:> felt like I was missing my left hand or something (I'm left handed) lol.... I have the Rebel I started with but have gotten so used to the 7D it was frustrating to go back.
David, it was under warranty and the only cost I incurred was shipping it to them.. I was very pleased with the service I received when I called in to ask about getting it fixed...and the camera was returned fairly quickly as well.. with 2 day shipping. I am pleased. Hope you get as much enjoyment for your 7D as I do mine;>

I also had something similar with my 7D. Repaired with no problem or cost; in the UK.
And it was purchased from a Gibraltar based company.
