Union flag protest
This shot was taken during a protest in Glasgow. When taken I wanted to avoid showing the face of the child, so took it while he was looking away. Although not posed I talked to the main participants afterwards for their permission to display the shot , and permission was granted. Maybe not as good as a signed model release, but better than nothing.
I feel the two tone shot can sometimes be done to death so for this one I just used very selective colour of parts of the flags, rather than the whole thing.
As ever comments appreciated

Re: Union flag protest
Hi David,
this is a great documantary picture.
i'd crop it from the bottom and the top for even more impact.
all the best, Werner

Re: Union flag protest
Thanks Werner, I'm particularly pleased with this shot as were the boys family who got copies of the picture.
