Hummoth
First time I have seen one of these guys so I was caught by surprise!
I have shot Humming Birds before except something was different!
It was fuzzy instead of feathered, it behaved a little differently though it loved the flowers, it had different wings and coloring, and it moved just as fast!
But like the Hummers it was one of the coolest creatures I have seen!
Another Day, Another Chance to Find Something New!
It is a Humming Bird Moth and I have seen a couple of awesome ones posted here!
F/3.5, Ss 1/5000, ISO @ 800, FL 170mm
It was hard to tame these Beautiful Creatures with a camera!

Re: Hummoth
Neat image... I have never seen nor even heard of this before. My education is never complete! How big was this creature?

Re: Hummoth
Thank you Bruce.
Richard this creature is about an inch and a half, two tops head to tail!
Found him in Colorado. Never saw one in MO! Had to show someone the back of the camera and ask what the heck it was
