I like this a lot and hope everyone views it in the large version.
Hi Kevin. I think your high key development really makes this image. Nice work. I wonder a little bit whether including her red bead necklace enhances or distracts from the overall image.
karm
I love the high key effect. IMO, high key needs a small area of dark within the image to contrast with the light areas and to make the effect not just over exposed or overly bright. I think that the green necklace provides the counter-point to the over-all brightness.
Really very nice. The high key treatment makes this but the red necklace does pull slightly.
Thanks much, gents. I appreciate the feedback.
Karm and John, I debated the inclusion of the red beeds but decided it helped balance the image, added a little color to what might become too washed out, and thought it contributed to communicating the mindset of a small child looking forward to her next addition.
Richard, I completely agree with some offsetting darker color. Are you thinking it might be good to enhance the green and red. Easily done, and I'll have a play with it.
Thank you all.
Hi Kevin,
this picture works well for me. I think your capture is spot-on.
Well done.
Kevin...I might suggest that it takes a parent to really appreciate that image, as your granddaughter will when she displays it to her children.
breathtakingly beautiful...
Everything that I thought while viewing this image (in its largest size) has already been said. Love it...it's beautiful...well done...spot on.
Needless to say, I LIKE IT!!
Thanks, guys for the kind words and encouragement
