Spider Solitare
Out on the back deck this evening and heard a hawk drop from the trees on top of some poor creature. I didn't have my camera with me, so in the house I went, grabbed the camera and back outside. Damn that bird is quick...no where to be found. So as I am standing there with camera in hand I spotted this spider in between the branches of on of the trees just off the deck. I had thoughts running through my feeble mind of a silhouette type of shot. What I expected to get was a spider floating in mid-air...what I didn't expect was for the web to show up like it did. I gotta admit I kinda like it. I prefer the 1st over the 2nd. C&C and thoughts are most welcome.

Re: Spider Solitare
First for me. I like the size of the spider and his placement in the frame.

I was expecting a screenshot of the card game. Nice image.

Re: Spider Solitare
Hi, John
Much prefer the first. A subject with this much built-in tension needs a position of tension as well; there's nothing "in-balance" about a wicked-looking spider
