My Mom at 100
Here is a portrait of my Mom at her 100 year old celebration. Shot with beautiful, soft light through large windows at the restaurant. I'm really proud of her... a picture of love, grace and dignity. I am a very lucky guy!

You are a lucky guy. My mom passed about 8 years ago. Enjoy every moment with her. Very touching photo, she looks amazing for 100.

100! Good grief. What's she been taking? I'd like some of it. She looks wonderful. All best wishes to her.

Re: My Mom at 100
Thank you for your kind comments and wishes. Here is another photo of Mom and her baby brother, now 96. He lives in Florida and was a surprise attendee (for Mom) at her birthday celebration. They had not seen each other for many years although they correspond by mail. He's a World War II veteran, a Marine officer that saw combat in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to photograph them together, perhaps for the last time. My Uncle's mustache makes him look like an old, Western marshal.
This shot is pretty tight; I accidentally packed the wrong lens, my 85 mm instead of the 24-70, a careless mistake on my part. I could not back up anymore in this location.

Lovely capture of a special moment. Your Mom looks like she is about to say something to you and he looks lost in thought. They sure do look young, lucky you to have those youthful genes in your family!

Lovely image that any money in the world you wouldn't change for. Hope I look like that at 100 (if I ever reach that age)

What a great shot. Congrats to her. That crocheted sweater looks great on her. Bet she made it herself.
