Good to be back
Hi all, I haven't been here in a while so it's good to be back. I was taking some portraits of my granddaughter recently and her are a couple of the results. Feedback welcome. Thanks.

Welcome back Anne. Very nice shot of a beautiful young lady. The left eye seems a little off. Maybe if you had her focus just to the right of the camera lens instead of directly at it, it may have seemed more natural.

Re: Good to be back
Hi Anne,
Have you done much PP (Post processing) on this shot?
I ask because if you have, where you may have sharpened the eyes, I feel there's a ridge/fold just above the eyelids which would have benefited from being softer. (Need to view at 100% - i.e. 1166 tall and scroll, to see it properly)
Still a very nice photo though, well done and welcome back,

Re: Good to be back
Thank you Dave, and yes I did some pp but not a lot. I do tend to over-sharpen images though, so still a long way to go in that respect. But I do see what you mean about the fold in the eyelid. I will be mindful of this when pp the other images. thanks again for your feedback. Anne
