Lightroom 5.2 and Lightroom 4.4
Hi,
I have just upgraded to LR5, and am starting to process images from a recent trip.
Has anyone noticed any difference in behaviours in the sliders between LR4 and 5?
It seems to me that some of the basic sliders (contrast, clarity, vibrance?) are a bit more aggressive in the new version, i.e. I need less of them, but it may of course be that I'm being a bit heavy handed.
I've still to explore some of the other panels.
Any thoughts?
Dave

Re: Lightroom 5.2 and Lightroom 4.4
Hello David, I am using Lightroom 5. I have not noticed any difference in the Basic Panel sliders from Lightroom 4. In reading about the differences and changes ( I have both Scott Kelby's and Martin Evening's books on my Kindle for PC) the new tool to visualize spots/dust bunnies to clean them up, the Radial Filter Tool, and a smoothness slider underneath Color Noise are the major changes. Neither Kelby or Evening have written about changes to the Basic Panel sliders.

I believe that Martin Evening pointed the change out - the clarity slider for one requires a smaller setting.
