And now for the $64,000 question ...

... "how many shots in the bracket that you took to make the shot"?

    Raj,

A very novel interesting capture. Can you confirm these are metal handles?

Do we still these in operational signal boxes these days or have they all been replaced with buttons?

Thank you for the appreciation and the review

Yes they are metal handles and these handles are of just palm size It is kept in the railway museum, New Delhi. I guess they were used in 1960s or 1970s. Just forgot to click the snapshot of the whole lever bracket which was around just 2 feet long.

I clicked and post processed in a way to show them big and sturdy Here is a test shot with my 50mm ( & EV +1 ) which i took before the final framing.

OMG - it really is HDR!

Mostly when people say an image is HDR they then go on to say that "it was processed from a single exposure using Photomatix ...".

Just for the record though, generally, there's noting to be gained from the -1 and +1 exposures as the difference in noise levels between any two stops is next to nothing (ie the -2 shot covers everything the -1 does and the +2 covers everything the +1 does, so those two are unnecessary).

Agreed I always use photoshop for HDRs and i always blend them manually, in that case i use 2 or 3 brackets max (Depending on the information in histogram). It is just i wanted to try photomatix, so it was my first attempt with photomatix so tried 5 exposures. Will try bracketing 3 exposures from next time in photomatix. Thanks for the info.
