Well, I'm not exactly a new member as I joined last October, but have never really introduced myself.
I have always had an interest in photography and used to photograph when I was younger with my first camera being bought with my pocket money which was a Zenith then when I started working I upgraded to an Olypus OM10. This all fell by the wayside when I found out about beer and girls then got married and had children so could not afford to get back into photography.
My situation has changed and I decided I wanted to start again (wish I'd done it sooner) which was just over a year ago and I started with a Nikon D5100, which I could not get on with (too small and not enough direct control (a lot of changes via the menu)), so I traded this in and got the D7000 which I am still using until Nikon release confirmation of the D610 specs.

If anyone want to know anymore please let me know.

From your post history, I see you have entered a lot of mini comps. I haven't looked to see how you got on, but ....
