Re: Which B&W?
I like #2 better because of the higher contrast.

I also prefer the second image. It is more balanced to my eye.

Re: Which B&W?
And for some reason I would far prefer to see No 1 hanging on my wall.

Re: Which B&W?
Probably somewhere between those two extremes for me.

Re: Which B&W?
I like both, however I would like to see both the exact same size to compare the details in both, I do lean towards the second image.

Re: Which B&W?
Both are very nice, but I find #1 more unusual with the high key approach you have taken and that tips in towards liking it best.
I don't know what the foreground looked like, but what I don't like is the way that foremost post runs out of the image. I wounder if it would have looked better with the post immersed in water, with a bit of water running into the bottom of the image.

I prefer number 1. Number 2 for me doesn't feel right.

Re: Which B&W?
IMO, Number one is more artistic...

Number 2. Number 1 looks like a composite.

Re: Which B&W?
The first for me by far... it's dreamy (the light), artistic, and simply beautiful.

Re: Which B&W?
I gotta vote for #1. The moment the page opened ands I saw it, I was like - now that's cool. I saw the second one too and it actually disappointed me compared to the first. That's just from my amateur eyes.

Re: Which B&W?
#1 I think it's a great (and by far better) shot. There's more detail and it's much more interesting than #2.
#1 just feels right.
