Help! Adobe 'live chat' keeps freezing up on my session?!
Ordered PSE11 on disk as I thought would be easier.
Disk does not work. Live chat sent me link and at that point, 2ce, the pages came up as chat has dropped me.
Really frustrated!
Any ideas?
Brand new product and I cannot talk to someone unless I PAY?

It sounds like you are having a problem with your internet connection.
I was online with Adobe level 1 and then level 2 support a few weeks ago, dealing with some problems I was experiencing with CC and I had no such connectivity issues.
Can you download the trial version of PSE11 from Adobe and install it on your machine? If it is anything like the other Adobe products, once you install it, entering the product key that came with the disk will turn the trial version into the fully licenced version of the software.
That being said, the current version of Elements is version 12, I'm a bit surprised that you got version 11.

Yeah, that would be me, behind the times!
If I look again, I will see what price difference is to get 12.
Will look into your suggestion on free trial conversion.

You should check with Adobe; as you purchased 11 after 12 was released, you might be eligible for an upgrade at no additional cost. I seem to remember something like that happening to me in the past.
