This all happened too quickly, and I was set on a 1/1000 which sadly wan't fast enough. Still, I think the motion blur doesn't detract too much. The bird on the right was certainly in flight! Posted mostly for fun.

The one on the right seems sharp enough and that is presumably where your focus was. The left bird is slightly behind so it should be slightly blurred. But the eyes are showing in both so that is good.
