Helpful Posts: We were having dinner when we noticed this eerie glow coming in a window. So, grabbing cameras, we raced outside. Could not believe the colours in the sky as the sun set. Never seen a sky like this here before. This is one of my captures.
Apart from a little cropping to tidy things up there was no other pp of this shot. A case of Wysiwyg.
Okay I am not sure how one sends the settings data automatically with each post. But for those who may be interested it was taken with a canon 7D with a pancake lens with settings at f 2.8, exposure 1/100sec and ISO of 100

Ken this is one of those images I can just sit and stare at.
Now don't look straight at it on your screen, look at it from a lower angle. Going down you can actually see the sun setting.

I like the image...but in the interest of never being satisfied, I might have somehow gotten rid of most of the hill while leaving the tree.

Just catching up with what's been posted today.
Now, that is a sky! Well done, Ken.
Question - Does it lean a bit from left to right; i.e. does it need a counter-clockwise rotation? The base of some clouds seem to be sloping down to the right and I would have expected them to be level. Or have I had too much wine?

That is exactly how it was. Crazy clouds all over the place like a mad dog's brekky. And the slope of the hill is as it should be, in terms of spatial orientation.
