Really great indeed
Stunningly beautiful... Looking forward to seeing more!
Fantastic. Tack sharp and lots of detail. I love them.
Great shots - you've made an 'ugly' animal look photogenic
Cracking captures Mike,well done!
Hi Mike, I like the first one and you've caught the animal at just at the right moment. The second one reminds me of the Wildebeeste pictures that I have where it is difficult to pick up the eye, due to the brown eye and brown/black face. I notice a white spot in the eye is that natural light? Also a colour change between the two pictures where the second one is better as it shows the coat better with a lovely texture. Well done.
Thanks, Clive!
The white spot in the eye of the second wildebeest isn't a catch light. It's other material in the corner of its eye. To answer your question about whether anything other than natural light was used, it wasn't. The different color of the two photos is explained by the fact that they were taken two days apart in completely different light.
Nope, the warthog is truly ugly, despite that your capture emphasizes what little beauty it has. I'm envious of your buffalo shot in the water.
