Thanks Chauncey. It was a bit muddy. I only had the 18-200mm and I was a bit bothered about DOF.

Not sure what you mean Nandakumar. There was definitely no flash used (check the metadata). The shot was taken at 3.35 pm in March of this year (see metadata). Pretty low sun over my right shoulder at that time . Hence the direction of the shadow.
