The Sun was shining in my direction, the dancers were inside a dark tent but I decided to fire a shot anyway, camera on AUTO. Settings f/4.5, 1/180s, ISO 400.

Not a bad recovery of a clearly challenging capture John.
Personally, I would also have rotated it to get vertical and crop some off either side to concentrate viewers attention onto the subjects.
