A few picks southern France
These photos were taken on vacation in Cannes (first without our children!) with my first digital camera Sony dsc-v1 back in 2004. Any comments are always welcome.

Hi Jerry
I like the compositions in these shots and the B&W works well. Is it Saint Paul De Vence ?
It might be worth adding a bit more sharpening or local contrast to bring out the textures a bit more. The quality of these images is pretty good for a 2004 compact.

Hi Dave
If I’m not wrong the first one is from Eze, the second from Ventimiglia and the last one from Saint De Paul De Vence, thank you for comment.

I feel the middle one is maybe just a little flat as it doesn't have the same tonal range as the other two. As Dave suggested, and particularly in respect of that one, it could maybe use a good dose of Local Contrast Enhancement to give it a bit of 'pop'.
But, anything portraying these sort of scenes of France just win me over every time. Gorgeous.

Re: A few picks southern France
You were right, a little more contrast makes the difference, thanks both of you.
