back with a selfie!
Hey there, i was bored and thought to quickly do a selfie to relieve my boredom. There is a few things i learnt from this attempt:
1: Need to purchase a backdrop stand that will be high enough for a tall bloke like me, im 6ft 10.
2: That i wish i have more room. I shot this in my lounge room. Ido have a few sheds but i dont like the idea of moving all my gear in a couple of trips back and forth.
This wasnt my original plan because my other idea didnt pan out because of those two reasons above. Would like your thoughts on this one.

Hi Allen,
I don't know much about potrait lighting but I love this shot because it is soooo you!
You have a huge personality ( with a hugely kind heart I may add!) and this depicts you perfectly, it's witty, it's fun..it's Allen Lennon.
I also like the way you've kept the tones down to black and silver. Stylish!

Uniquely you as always Allen, great lighting. You seem to be able to make a simple image/idea really turn out to be something outstanding.
Nice work.
Ps, did you get to Bathurst on the weekend for the race

Re: back with a selfie!
It 's so good that I hope you try a lot of different poses. A set of photos like this could be one of those situations where the sum is even stronger than the individual parts.

Re: back with a selfie!
Thanks Greg. Although outstanding is debatable. and no I didn't go to Bathurst. I don't watch it, not interested. As a rule I never go to Bathurst on race weekend. Made the mistake on not obeying the rule while riding the motorbike up through Bathurst. Pretty much walked the bike for. 5 kms

Re: back with a selfie!
Mike thank you. So you set me a challenge to do different poses with the same idea? Also edite all the photos into one like a collage? If so challenge accepted !

Re: back with a selfie!
Yes, different poses with the same idea. I hadn't thought of the collage. However, considering the additional time that would be required to make it, I definitely think you should do it. That's because it's apparent that we should keep you off the streets as much as possible.

Re: back with a selfie!
Great shot and great idea. With winter coming up (for us Northerners anyway) it could be a challenge more of us accept as we have to stay in more.

Very unique and creative. If I ever get around to buying lighting gear it would be an idea to steal. Might be a little difficult to pull off at a public venue, but what the heck.
