Thanks Manfred, learning a lot with you all. I already knew about my camera being mirrorless and having smaller sensor, but this system is new to me. Very good to know.
When I was looking for a camera, the fz200 caught me because of its zoom and constant aperture. After I bought it I realized that zoom was not a so desirable feature to me and I started to wonder if I shouldn't have bought a cheap DSLR (the price was about the same as a Nikon d3100, with a cheap 18-55 lens). Now I'm satisfied with it. Although the image isn't as good as a DSLR, it's easier to carry, and easier to my fiancee to use. I want to buy a DSLR in the future, but I'm considering at that time keeping my fz200 with me.
