    I like the shot of the fence, Mike, but I wonder why you didn't try it in b&w.

    I did try it in black-and-white and actually planned it all along. I don't remember why I didn't like it.

    I actually blew a photo with more promise that had a much more even background. Sadly, I screwed up and got the fence out of focus somehow. Worse yet, I didn't check immediately after I took the shot. Once I discovered the problem, it was too late.
