Wonderfully sharp, clear and bright. Just what's needed to make this sort of food attractive.

On the second one, the thing that weakens it as an image for me is that diagonal of the edge of table cloth/napkin cutting across the top right corner. I think the cloth needed to be covering the whole frame. And I'm not sure that the salt a pepper add anything to the image, particularly as the top of the salt-cellar is out of shot.

I agree with Donald, Travis. I would also suggest having the fork at a different angle than the rows of food may have made the image a bit more dynamic.
