    Tri-colored Heron Revisited...

I was doing some housekeeping and final workups on some of my files today before I put them in their final resting place ( sounds like a cemetery ). I worked on these and like the final edits. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Love them all, but especially #3. I like the detail and the different layers of feathering. #4 shows the feathers nice too but I like the composition in #3 better.

    Hi Joe,

You might consider losing the reflection in 3,4 and 5, cropping to show the viewer more of the colour of the bird.

I find myself in disagreement with Andre...the reflections are what makes the images special.
I will rarely shoot those big birds without the reflection in the frame and PP that RAW image in LR.

Hello Andre, thank you for commenting and viewing. I have other virtual copies cropped as you suggested, thanks again for your comments.

Hello Chauncey, thank you for viewing and commenting. You and I have a love of reflections, I become angry at myself if I not allowed enough room in the image to evaluate using it in the composition.

Disagree with this comment, you can still see the colour of the birds as your eyes are drawn right to them but to omit reflections, for me a big no no.
    Dave.
