fern fractal concept

c&c on the composition...I shot this really quick with not a lot of light a little while ago...thought it was kinda cool. whaddya think? it totally reminds me of a computer generated fractal. it actually is a fractal I guess--very self-similar.

Compostion is fine to me. leads you into the frame...then to the end and ... not sure where to go from there but I still like it

Yeah, I quite like it too.

I think I would crop tighter, taking a good 15% off the top, so there is the same small gap to top edge of frame from the first leaf(?) in as there is from the bottom edge. But that's just me

However, that was my first idea; then I downloaded it and played a bit, and now I like your composition

I think an average taken somewhere between those 2 images would work for me.

Nice shot. I gave it a quick edit to try and make it not look so plain. I added a little LAB color........some blue and green saturation.........sharpened...........dodge and burn ( the top half of the blue was dark and the bottom lighter, so i did the same to the fern.) What do you think.

I can definitely see that saturating the greens a bit brings the fern out a lot better, and I agree with the dodging and burning...makes it look more natural and kinda follows the blue-white gradient of the background.
