That time of year for my regular away trip. What was normally a 14-16 hours flight turned into a mind-numbing 21 hours in the air and a couple more in the lounge at Narita. Tokyo area had been hit by a major storm and the airport and schedules were really really messed up. Thankfully the lounge was well supplied with coffee and a good variety of food.
Some shots - Asia has the best colours for sure....
Just sharing - I know they could be better....

I looked at No 3 for a while thinking what had happened before I read the title
It's 4 & 5 for me in that order, although No 7 could have come 1st if there was separate BFIF category !

Interesting treatments .... last time I flew to the States Air NZ arrived five hours late and I missed my connecting flight and had to spend the night at SFO airport. Worst part of this was being roused throughout the night every ten minutes with an automatic annoucement about special treatment of service personel
