Hi Daisy. I like ( a lot) the image's content and composition. What I don't like is how you treated the subject's right eye. It seems (to me) not to flow with the rest of the subject's face.

What don't you like about it karm?
It's a profile shot and am unsure how I could have treated it differently! I lit the cheek, jaw and throat but it is deliberately vague and distorted.
( it's my face BTW
!)

I don't know what it is, but I like it. I thought it was the moon in the top right corner but it is lovely and unique.

Hi Daisy, sorry for my delayed response. I think it is its circular appearance that bothers me. It seems unnatural looking. The rest of the face, even where it's vague and distorted, flows. The lighter circular line (northeast of the nose) seems out-of-step with the rest of the face's outline, contours, etc.

Sharon, I love it. My first reaction was: too dark. Then I saw the... ghost, faded visage, profile? Well done.
