    Leaf still life

I am home sick today and bored.

I have created this leaf still life and processed it with Nik filters and CS5. Please tell me what you think?

Marie, I like this photo. Very simple, and elegant. Hope you feel better.

    Thanks, Bruce. Simple is good.

Some days my body defeats me, but the brain is too busy for its own good. I then have to get creative.

    Appreciate the comment.

Marie - hope you're feeling better having played with your camera.

I like the colours of the shot but wonder about the back ground you have chosen - it doesn't have an natural enough feel for me. Perhaps larger, rougher stones would be better ?

I think that for me the leaves look as though they have been placed there and it lacks a natural wind blown aspect.

Thanks, Kaye. The other stones that I have are gravel, but they do not look as if they came from a streambed.

Sharon, you are correct, which is why I called it a still life. I did try sprinkling, though the leaves did not land right. Right now, I don't have breath to attempt blowing.

When I feel better, I can get down to the creek and shoot under real life conditions.

Thanks for commenting, the both of you.
