    Lost at Sea

I don't know the story behind this but it just seemed so incredibly poignant.

    All C&C welcome

    Poignant? How about heart-wrenching?

Consider darkening the bright area on the left.

    Aw shucks..thank you Mike.

I toned down some brighter rocks but I deliberately used that light on the left side. There's something a bit 'Lunar landscape' about the terrain and the bluish light worked with it ...for me . It's such a dark picture.

    John..thanks for commenting!

Sharon, you have visited a dark, and sad place with your photography.

    Bruce

Life is unfortunately full of sadness and darkness Bruce and sometimes I feel we have to embrace it to fully understand the human experience.

To only take shots of bunny rabbits and sunsets would be to deny the human condition and teach us nothing.

You might be relieved to know that I am actually a very happy and optimistic person in 'real life!'
