natural texture

This was a photo taken earlier this week whilst walking in the Hottentot-Holland hills in the Western Cape of South Africa.As a colour composition I was reasonably pleased with it but the conversion to B&W using Nik Silver EfexPro has transformed it to an image about contrasting textures which I'm quite pleased with.I do like the different textures of the grasses directly related to those of the rocks and distant hills.Neil

Neil there are some good textures in the image and there are also some interesting tonal variations throughout the image. The B&W works well I think.

Lovely textures and worth while but perhaps a little flat for me Neil.
