Coyote at Antelope Island
I ended up at Antelope Island earlier this evening and found a coyote, who wasn't bothered by my car parked on the side of the road taking over 500 pictures of it. No, not every image turned out - I got at least 12 that I consider good LOL
Shot with a Canon 7D & Tamron SP 200-500mm Lens and a Bean Bag over the window for stabilization

Re: Coyote at Antelope Island
This is very nice and the eyes are great. It is so good that I have to mention that, for some reason I'm not sure of, I think the photo is missing a truly captivating element that is probably there and hasn't been brought out. Perhaps a bit more contrast in the animal, perhaps a slight vignette around the animal, perhaps both. Definitely consider eliminating the two dark twigs in the lower left corner as a small touch.

Re: Coyote at Antelope Island
Hello Mike, thanks for the compliment. What's funny is due to the lighting (soft light from clouds) I did boost the contrast some to bring out more detail; I don't normally remove anything (I enjoy photographing animals in their habitat) from an image unless it's sensor dust and I rarely add vignettes, but thanks for the suggestions

Agree with Mike's comments Mavouneen. I think you could afford to crop the twigs because for me, there is a little too much space on the LHS anyway and maybe a little selective sharpening around the eyes and mussel. However these are minor thoughts. This a very nice image come what may.

Beautiful image. Love the background, detail and yes, those eyes. Thanks for sharing.
