Jo-anne
I notice there are not many portraits in the forum. Here is one of my latest. Any comment is welcome.

Re: Jo-anne
It is a nice portrait of a pretty young lady; however the positioning of the subject appears to be odd.

Menno - I will have to go along with Bruce's comments. The subject is nicely lit and photographed, but the pose is decidedly awkward and really does not work for me.

I'm not a portrait specialist but everything looks fine to me, including the pose. Grahame describes it perfectly for me.

Re: Jo-anne
Not a natural pose but I don't dislike it and there is no doubt about the quality of the shot. Nice work.

Re: Jo-anne
I'm no portrait expert, but I really like this. That the subject is a stunning young lady does no harm at all

Re: Jo-anne
Very nice, however there appears to be more warmth in the background than in her skin tones.

Re: Jo-anne
I like the lighting, background, etc. As far as the pose I agree that it's quirky and fun. There's some "diva" in it.
