Helpful Posts: I recently went out West and spent some time in the High Country of Colorado, USA.
It was during the recent catastrophic flooding out there in the Boulder area. Though I wasn’t especially close to that area, this was the first time I have ever been out there when the skies were so constantly moody and it rained at least some everyday and night.
Another first for me was that I intentionally shot a good number of photographs with the express purpose of mono conversion. Once I got out there and saw that I was going to be constantly dealing with cloudy, gray days, it just seemed logical that I shoot for mono.
Whether or not I was successful in my endeavor it was certainly a great photographic experience.
