Cranes and Limpkins...

I captured these on Monday at Circle B Bar Reserve, a local nature reserve encompassing about 1000 acres of marshland. The Sand Hill Cranes came cruising across the trail I was walking on passing about 25 feet above. The Limpkins were grab shots after the bird flushed from the vegetation and flew close by to my left. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Aside from the fact that those are superior shots...the colors of the sand hill cranes are quite different than the mottled brown colors than I'm seeing in SE Michigan. Must be your nicer weather.
