    Very nice, was that shot with wide open aperture or selective sharpening?

    Actually, neither. It was an image that I had already converted to B&W...

    It was the first of my Civil War Reenactment images that popped up. I used the NIK Analog Filter to convert this to a wet-plate look. The "selective" blur was part of one of the setups for the wet-plate look. I expect that the blur was a vignette which might have been caused by one of the old lenses used in the mid-19th Century.
