Lovely capture. I might think about cropping out some of the brick and perhaps desaturating the red a tad to put more emphasis on your handsome Sheltie..

Thanks John, Bruce & Richard..I gave my girl a haircut today and kind of butchered her a little..the good thing is the hair tends to grow in even over time. Maybe I'll take a photo of her with her hair shortened..a before & after

Interesting framing with the white and the warm tones of the red bricks. I think Richard may be onto something; the bright red is a bit "in your face", so making a selection of the area and desaturating slightly may give you a shot that works better.
