One day at Dartmouth

My Brother and I took my son and niece to a one day program at Dartmouth last Saturday. When my brother and kids were in the program, I got a chance to shoot around the campus and a trail nearby. The time was 9 am ~ 4:30 pm and it was a cloudy day with overcast light. In order to enhance the color and detail in the shadow, I shot the HDR for #1, 4, 5 and 7. Is that too much?

C&C welcomed.



#1 EXIF: 1/13 sec at f / 11, Focal Length:300 mm, ISO 800. I had to choose higher ISO to get faster speed and freeze the moving leaves.
This is a HDR image from 7 exposure.



#2 EXIF: 1/200 sec at f / 8.0, Focal Length:90 mm, ISO 400. Again, I had to choose higher ISO to get faster speed and freeze the moving leaves.



#3 EXIF: 1/13 sec at f / 11, Focal Length:35 mm, ISO 100.



#4 EXIF: 1 sec at f / 11, Focal Length:98 mm, ISO 100.
This is a HDR image from 7 exposure.



#5 EXIF: 1/8 sec at f / 22, Focal Length:28 mm, ISO 100.
This is a HDR image from 7 exposure.



#6 EXIF: 1/21 sec at f / 8.0, Focal Length:190 mm, ISO 100.



#7 EXIF: 10 sec at f / 22, Focal Length:28 mm, ISO 100.
This is a HDR image from 7 exposure.

Excellent images; rich in colors; if i feel a bit over doing, that is about #6...that too a tad....

It is always colorful at this time of the year in New England area. But this is my first year going out shoot the beautiful season.

You are right for the #6. I will tone down a little bit to let my eye can stop loner on the picture and pay more attention the the tree trunks instead of leaves.

#4 is also one of my favorite. I was glad that caught this view half hour before I had to leave.

I just find out that the image loaded from flickr is much more sharper. The picture uploaded from tinypic is closer to the original picture. Here is the test image for #4. I added a littlbit WB, but did not change the sharpening.
