Well I got the update myself through the email update link instead of waiting for it to appear. I installed it right over the old version as stated to do.The problem I encountered was when I opened Analog Efex Pro in lightroom. No image appeared in the editing area, just blocks of different colors (textures). It also affected Color Efex Pro 4 and Silver Efex Pro 2 in the same way, blocks of different color textures. I tried just about every combination that I could think of with no change.
I then went to windows update to make sure I had everything I needed, found a couple of needed updates and installed them. Still no luck with the Nik Collection.
I must have installed/deleted lightroom and Nik collection downloads a couple dozen times.

Then I downloaded/installed the new Nik collection again (lightroom already back on the computer), checked it still the same , and thought huuumm lets try installing the old version over the new version and BAM there it was working like a pro. I did get a message that I had a newer version of Nik Collection installed, I just clicked on the install anyway as I figured I had nothing to loose.

I was just on the verge of saying the heck with it. NOT ONCE did I get an error message. I have no idea what happened but I do know how it was corrected and thought I would pass it along just encase someone else was having the same problem. By the time I emailed Google/Nik on Friday afternoon it was too late to get a reply from them possibly until Monday. I could not wait LOL
