Nicely done. I am sure that they would appreciate a print of this image. I have always deeply respected old warriors like these gentlemen. However, it is shocking to realize that I am now one of the "old" warriors. A lovely adult woman was talking to me recently and said, "I hear that you were in Vietnam. My grandfather was in that war"
A slight rotate counter clockwise might set the monument up vertically. A bit of brightness reduction on the white area in front of the old warriors might also help to delineate the text and illustrations. A touch of brightness reduction in the rectangles located on either side near the top of the column would reduce their distraction. What do you think?
I might even consider cutting off some of the column, cropping right over the flower displays, near the top. However, that part of the column might have some emotional or historic value.
BTW: I guess everyone knows that we also use poppies for that purpose here in the USA....
