    Sharon,

Another stunner, just what we have come to expect.

I can imaging this one as the cover picture to some eerie fairytale book.

Sharon I think that has to be of the best images I have seen from you or anyone else at CIC or anywhere, just love it, that is an image I would just love to print and put on the wall.

    Cheers:

'Wuthering Heights' comes to my mind when I see a image like this. I find them intriguing in the way you seem to let your mind wander to where ever it wants to go in relation to how compose these images that you can look at and each time you look at it you see different morphs of different images in the image. You must have a very deep down subconscious mind that lets you bring these so dreamlike images to the forefront of your mind. Stunning.

Oddly, I don't get any impression of winter from this image, Sharon. Maybe that is because it is nearly summer here and we are feeling the heat. That said, I do like the image: it has a definite sense of the faery world about it. There is plenty of detail in the shadowy areas to engage the viewer's imagination. Well done.

This is a fascinating image. The second time I looked at it I did not see a tree but a pug nosed yellow face which I can't get out of my mind now. I wish I knew how you get your pictures.

    Thank you so much folks.

I have had next to no opportunities to take shots for the last wee while and in truth it has been making me a bit depressed so I am very glad that this one worked out.

Another excellent shot. Don't know what you do when you take your photos and process them, but it certainly works.

Hi Sharon: I agree that this is truly one of your most compelling shots. Very moody and mysterious. Love it!

    Re: Wisps of Winter

If the faeries have any sense they will be curled up somewhere warm and dry. It's getting Wintry and wet up here.

Thank you for your comments..as I say my initial view of this shot was that it would work out quite differently with the emphasis on warmer tones but the moment I started to edit it took its own very different course. Some shots just do that.
