I am so envious of the great light and the baby giraffe. Very well done!
As for the difficulty of achieving your shot compared to achieving my shot of the serving set, consider that I went on 8 game drives in areas where we regularly saw giraffes. Yet I never saw a scene such as yours. Contrast that with the fact that I was in complete control when I photographed the serving set in my makeshift studio. I could easily argue, based on my perspective, that your photograph was far tougher to achieve because so much less was within your control.
