Valley of the Dronne, Dordogne & Lot valley

Was up this way with a friend house hunting - not the Dordogne valley but the valley of the river Dronne. Not a photographic trip - but took some snaps at midday - so didn't have the light. If you are in the Dordogne this valley has some good photo ops & is less crowded than the Dordogne valley. Shot with D800 & 18-35 , 85mm 1.8 & 50mm 1.8

Jeff it does indeed look like a very interesting place with some great photo opportunities as you have demonstrated. And just imagine what you could do with light and shade in the early morning or late afternoon.

Very attractive and certainly appeals to not only my tourist instincts but also I am an addict if I start a jigsaw and all of these have great potential as puzzles.

My first holiday in France was in the Lot Valley, just across the river from Prayssac.
