Very nice photos with a good shallow DOF. #3 is my favorite.

I would agree with Bruce, I think that the third image works best. Your wife poses this shot very well, as even though her hands are framing her face, the touch is gentle enough to not distort things and the line that her hands and cheek bones make, accentuates things quite nicely.
In the first image the stucco wall seems to want too much attention and while this is reduced in the second image, I find the line of trees add to the image, while the cars take away.
What I do like about all three images is the side lighting that almost looks like you are shooting with a strong hair light. I find that this touch works nicely. It's also nice to have a beautiful and willing model to work with....
Beauty indeed Armand !! I'm no portrait expert but the soft light in these shots really appeals to me. The images are perfectly sharp but are softened nicely by the light, if that makes any sense.
Well done

Thank you all for your comments!
Three nice shots but no. 3 is the pick of the bunch for me also. What strikes me most is that your wife knows how to pose naturally and that's not always the case.
I like these. The critiques are instructive but seem to me minor relative to your successes with these. It looks to me as though your model likes you.
Lovely lady... Quite a model for you... You are quite lucky!
