    I can remember over the years thinking of situations where there are infinite sequences if images. For example, when I used to go to barber shops as a boy we would sit facing a mirror with another mirror behind us. We could then see the reflection of the reflection of the reflection of the .... .

    Another example is what you get when you point a TV camera at the TV set and display the image on the TV. If the image from the camera does not fill the screen there is what mathematicians call a contraction mapping and you get an infinite sequence of images converging to a point.

    The image here looks like smoke and mirrors to me.

    Sharon, it took me a while to relate to this but there is something about it that keeps drawing me back to look again. That, to me is great art.
