Grace makes two years

Yesterday our GSP, Grace, reached her second biological birthday. Sometimes it's tough having a photographer for a parent....

I've been trying to get photos of her in the same spot in front of the fireplace with each chronological event. Yesterday she was not very cooperative. She refused to lay with her back towards the fireplace like all of her other photo ops.

You do realize, don't you, that photographers would just love to have such a great model.

A great set fitting of such a commemorative day, but #2 takes the honors in my mind.

Thanks, folks. The last two best reflect the personality that we see in her every day. Though chronologically adult now, she still acts like a goofy, playful puppy most of the time.

From a technical standpoint, these were taken with a Nikon D800E. IMO to-date that camera body is without equal in how it captures eyes. It is really phenomenal. This is also one of the very few situations when I use flash. In this case camera mounted and bounced off the ceiling.
